UX Designer

Help shape the future of farming. At Lely, we’re working on the food supply of tomorrow with smart robots, data, and sustainable technology. Our mission: to make the farmer’s life easier, more enjoyable, and more sustainable. And for that, we are looking for a designer with vision, energy, and imagination.
- In the UX team, you’ll collaborate with designers, researchers, and developers from all over the world. Together, we create a consistent, user-friendly experience for farmers working with our robots, from app to display.
- But we’re looking for someone who thinks beyond screens. You’ll bring fresh ideas about how people, robots, and data can work together. You don’t just design interfaces, you help shape interaction and experience. You see opportunities where others see patterns and can translate ideas into tangible concepts, visuals, and prototypes.
- In short: you’re both a maker and a thinker, helping us design the next generation of farmer–robot interaction.
Wat is jouw ervaring?
What we ask of a UX Designer:
- Experience as a (UI/UX/Product) designer, but above all a conceptual and creative mindset.
- You can move smoothly between strategy, concept, and detail.
- You know how to present ideas convincingly to colleagues and stakeholders.
- You have experience working in multidisciplinary teams and in an Agile environment.
- You speak the language of developers but think from the user’s perspective.
- You want to make an impact with design on the farm, on people, and in the world.
Nice to have:
- Affinity with data, robotics, or agriculture.
- Experience with design systems or service design.
- Strong visualization skills, from sketch to clickable prototype.
