Lely Exos available from 2024
Lely Exos, a system for the fully autonomous harvesting and feeding of fresh grass, will be commercially available from mid-2024. With Lely Exos, dairy farmers can use a large part of their grassland production as fresh feed. Fresh grass has a 10 to 20% higher feed value than silage grass because many losses during harvesting, conservation and feeding do not occur. The feed value of the roughage is better used, and more milk is produced from the farmer’s grassland. This solution is fully in line with making the dairy farm circular. In addition, the system saves on labour and feed costs.
