Bright farming is yours by choice

There’s never any cows balling or rushing to the feed fence. It works away, and it saves so much time. Before, I would spend two hours putting out silage each day. Now, I spend 20 minutes filling the feed kitchen every other day, and the cows are constantly getting fresh feed.

We wouldn’t be without the Lely Juno feed pusher. We can’t match the consistency and reliability this machines offers. Feed is always available and there is plenty of room at the feed fence.

Thanks to the Astronaut A5, we’ve got access to more information about each animal now than we ever did previously. And that’s been very helpful to us both in terms of making milking easier and in monitoring the welfare of our herd.

From a time and labour perspective, the Collector C2 has been brilliant. Calving is our busiest time of year; there’s so much going on. And while we’re busy feeding and looking after the calves, the robot is working away unknown to you a good deal of the time. There’s one less big job for me to do every day and that’s another huge benefit the Collector C2 is after delivering for me – for all of us.
