Job Description

Join a fast-growing team at the forefront of agricultural technology. Lely is known for driving innovation in livestock farming, and our Lely Center is expanding to meet rising demand for our advanced feed and barn solutions—including the latest in automated cleaning, feeding, and animal care systems. 

We’re looking for a Feed & Barn Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and service of exciting technologies like the Lely Juno, Discovery Collector, and Lely Calm automatic calf feeder. This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone with strong technical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a desire to support farmers with the latest advancements in on-farm technology. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out site surveys and installation planning for barn equipment like the Lely Discovery Collector and Juno Flex 
  • Be at the forefront of new product introductions 
  • Install, commission, and maintain feed and barn systems 
  • Use software tools to measure sheds and map installations accurately 
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and software updates 
  • Deliver first-class customer support, troubleshooting, and technical advice 
  • Provide training to customers and colleagues 
  • Manage service tickets via Lely’s self-service support platform (LSS) 
  • Support internal teams and MS Teams channels for service-related queries 
  • Travel across the Lely Center area as required 

What You’ll Bring 

  • A strong interest in agricultural technology and hands-on engineering 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking 
  • Confidence in IT systems and data collection 
  • A self-motivated approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel 
  • Willingness to undergo continuous training and development
