I joined Lely Center Holsworthy as a Marketing Specialist in January 2021. My job has evolved into a diverse managament role, which includes full HR responsibilities for the center, as well as organising staff and customer events and implementing the annual marketing strategy. I'm happiest when out on farm with our customers and most of you will have seen me on a farm somewhere in our region, notepad and camera in hand! 

Prior to joining Lely Center Holsworthy, I worked as Head of Marketing for a large educational College in Somerset and more recently as the Marketing & Operations Manager at a dairy farm in South Devon.

Louisa started her accountancy career at the age of 18 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004. 

Joining Lely in 2022, Louisa is the Group Finance Manager responsible for all aspects of finance and leading a team of accounts administrators across both Lely Center Holaworthy and Lely Center Yeovil. 

I work in accounts at Lely Center Holsworthy. Many of you will have spoken to me when you have an accounts query as I have been the voice on the end of the phone since 2010. Prior to working for Lely, I worked across many industries from a steel framed building company to a Swedish multinational vehicle manufacturer either in accounts or treasury roles.

Whilst I appreciate the entire product range, the Luna cow brush has to be my favourite Lely product. I think it’s important to keep the cows and happy and it’s like a little spa treatment for them!

Outside of work you’ll find me running around after my daughter, baking, painting and doing crafts… it’s amazing what you can do with toilet rolls!  

I joined the accounts team at Lely Center Holsworthy in October 2023 as a Finance Administrator.  

I relocated to Devon, 5 ½ years ago, from Rochester in Kent.  My husband and I gave up our hectic lifestyles for a more relaxed, stress-free new life in Devon with our 3 dogs and 3 cats and we have never looked back.

Maths was my strongest subject at school and when I left, I joined a local building company working in their accounts department as a clerk, a few years passed and I decided to further my career and studied to obtain my A.A.T. qualification, where my career then developed.

I have worked in varied industries however, here in Devon, I have been working for a small family run business who specialise in selling agricultural plant and machinery. Being part of the Lely team, I am looking forward to learning more about their agricultural robotic technology and how it supports farmers.  I also am keen to get to know the customers and be as helpful as I can when any questions arise.

My all-time achievement was running in the London Marathon in 2012, the Olympic year. Being a runner for many years with lots of half marathons and 10k under my belt, my running days are now over as it turns out my joints were not as keen as me.

At weekends, I enjoy walking the dogs whether it’s up on Dartmoor or on the Cornish coastline, there are so many beautiful places still to discover and explore, we are very privileged to be in such a wonderful part of the country.

I am the Stock Controller at Lely Center Holsworthy. I have been in the dairy industry for the last 10 years working with conventional milking systems and also Lely robotic milking and feeding systems. I also have a long history in the transport industry.

I chose to work for Lely as it is such an exciting and innovative company; I think robotics have a huge part to play in the future of farming by giving farmers more free time and a better work / life balance. 

For me, one of my favourite products is the Lely Collector 120 slurry vacuum. This is a very useful piece of equipment as it provides the farmer with peace of mind that the passageways and yard will always be clean, providing help with cow health and welfare and also lowering manhours.

I joined the Business Support team at Lely Center Holsworthy in April 2023. I’m the voice at the end of the phone when you call into the Center, and I really enjoy getting to know as many customers as I can.

I have worked in many varied industries over the years, usually based in the office in front of a computer or on the phone. I’m looking forward to learning all about the robotic diary market and Lely’s vision for the future of the agricultural sector.

In my spare time I moonlight as an unpaid taxi driver for my teenage daughters and enjoy walking, usually with a few of our spaniels for company.
