Senior Project Management Officer IT

As an IT Project Management Officer (PMO), you are the driving force behind efficient project management. You work closely with project managers and various stakeholders to ensure that projects run smoothly and contribute to the strategic goals of our organization.
Your role revolves around oversight and support: you review project documentation, monitor dependencies, and ensure clear reporting. Additionally, you guide project teams in the use of methodologies, tools, and best practices.
What will you do?
- Support and optimize project management processes within IT projects.
- Prepare and manage reports on project progress, risks, and resources.
- Organize project management events, such as workshops, training sessions, and team-building activities.
- Coordinate the review and approval process for the Project Brief and Project Initiation Documents, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Assist with financial planning and budget management within projects.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management within the organization.
- Provide administrative support to the Digital Change team, such as scheduling meetings, managing agendas, and handling correspondence.
Wat is jouw ervaring?
You are a structured and proactive professional who gets energized by supporting and optimizing project processes. You easily maintain an overview and switch effortlessly between different priorities.
Additionally, you have:
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree, preferably in business administration or project management.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar PMO role within an IT environment.
- Certifications in project management methodologies (preferably IPMA-D, Prince2, PMO, or SCRUM).
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of financial planning and experience with tools within the MS Office 365 suite (such as Teams and SharePoint).
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Please note that (if you successfully pass the rounds) a screening will be part of the procedure.
