Workshop Engineer

The Role

The postholder will be responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, refurbishing and reconditioning Lely automatic milking machines and robotic barn equipment.  This post is based onsite at Lely Center Eglish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Refurbish and repair used automatic milking machines and robotic barn equipment in preparation for being resold;
• Ensure records are maintained and updated in a timely and accurate manner to support Sales;
• Liaising with Stock Control, ensure workshop is fully equipped with parts required and replenished as required;
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation;
• Ensure Lely mandatory training is completed at each level and continue to develop knowledge and skills, as required;
• Support Field Service Technicians, as required;
• Any other duties that may be required.
