Calves receive unlimited milk for the first 35 days of life, followed by a gradual reduction to promote roughage and concentrate intake, contributing to rumen health and cow vitality, fertility, and milk yield.
Optimal hygiene
The HygieneBox is designed for optimal hygiene through an automated two-step cleaning process. Every time a calf has drunk, the teat is cleaned with fresh water. Up to four times a day, the system’s interior is cleaned with both water and detergents.

The Lely Calm is designed to provide precise and hygienic feeding for calves, contributing to optimal growth and development.
The calf feeder is available in three models: powder, fresh milk or a combination.
You can equip the Lely Calm with either the standard teat or the tilting bracket.
The most important part of the drinking station is the hygienebox. This box serves as an extension of the Lely Calm and features a fully automated cleaning process for both the milk supply hose and teat.
CalfCloud provides real-time insight into the drinking behaviour of your calves.
After feeding, all unique data is sent to Lely Horizon, giving you real time insights in your calves’ performance. Throughout her life, historic data remains available for each individual animal, helping you to make the right decisions at every turn. The integration with Lely Horizon ensures ease of use through one single interface to monitor your entire herd, from calf to cow.
